Sónia's b-day

Yesterday went to a b-day party, and promised the b-day girl, Sónia, a home made b-day cake. Seemed easy. Achievable. Little did I know.
Ok, here goes yesterday:
-6 PM, 14 minutes-Go to GB (supermarket)
-6 PM, 19 minutes-Stand in the waiting line to pay
-6 PM, 22 minutes-Get to the cashier
-6 PM, 22 minutes and 10 seconds-Realize can’t find bank card
-6 PM, 23 minutes and 51 seconds-Search for bank card intensively in bag
-6 PM, 24 minutes and 3 seconds-Excuse myself to the cashier girl because of not finding card
-6 PM, 24 minutes and 27 seconds-Fell mortified because of not finding card yet
-6 PM, 24 minutes and 33 seconds-Girl looks at me with dead lamb eyes (famous Portuguese expression translating into "I don’t even like my job and I have to put up with stupid costumers"
-6 PM, 25 minutes and 40 seconds-Queue of 50metres start looking at me with disgust
-6 PM, 26 minutes and 12 seconds-Still can’t find my card
-6 PM, 26 minutes and 1 second-Excuse myself again because of not finding card
-6 PM, 26 minutes and 18 seconds-Feel mortified again
-6 PM, 26 minutes and 29 seconds-have brilliant idea to pay with money
-6 PM, 26 minutes and 59 seconds-Search for money intensively seams don’t have enough
-6 PM, 27 minutes and 10 seconds-Girl and queue look at me with disgust
-6 hours, 27 minutes and 42 seconds-Discover miracle coins in the jacket
-6 hours, 27 minutes and 50 seconds-With a mix of relief and shame pay the bill
-6 PM, 27 minutes and 52 seconds-Discover my Bank Card
-6 PM, 28 minutes and 5 seconds-Queue and Girl look at me with disgust
-6 PM 28 minutes and 10 seconds-Excuse myself once more and leave mortified to my place
-6 PM, 36 minutes and 26 seconds-Start doing chocolate cake
-6 PM, 52 minutes and 35 seconds-Put chocolate cake in the oven everything came out perfect
-7 PM, 53 minutes and 54 seconds-Seems cake is already done try to flip it over
-7 PM, 54 minutes and 34 seconds-the shock, the horror, the tragedy. Seems cake is still almost completely raw except for the top layer and breaks into pieces
-7 PM, 59 minutes and 11 seconds-have brilliant idea to mix the already cooked bits with the raw parts with a blender and put it back in the oven
-8 PM, 58 minutes and 41 seconds-Luis and Namita arrive at my place, time to go, take cake still not cooked plus whipped cream that is in the fridge
-10 PM, 14 minutes and 8 seconds-Get to Ana Gama’s place to get Cris
-10 PM, 17 minutes and 23 seconds-leave to Sonia’s house
-10 PM, 17 minutes and 40 seconds-Cris remembers she forgot the wine
-10 PM, 18 minutes and 3 seconds-Cris goes back to get wine
-10 PM, 19 minutes and 56 seconds-leave to Sonia´s house
-10 PM, 22 minutes and 10 seconds-Luis tell us his adventures which are:
-4PM-Pedro tells him he must be at the airport in 20 minutes but must leave his car at VUB (his workplace)
-4PM, 3 minutes-He goes into the building to get stuff to take to Portugal
-4 PM, 7 minutes-He comes back and they realize they left the key inside the closed car
-4 PM, 12 minutes-They break the window because they can not wait
-4 PM, 16 minutes -The security guard calls Pedro saying that someone is stealing his car
-4 PM, 30 minutes -they get to the airport on time

Anyway continuing the evening...
-10 PM, 29 minutes and 14 seconds-We arrive at Sonia’s house they all leave the car I go parking
-10 PM, 32 minutes and 45 seconds-One more lap at the block trying to find a parking space
-10 PM, 34 minutes and 5 seconds -One more lap at the block trying to find a parking space
-10 PM, 35 minutes and 55 seconds- One more lap at the block trying to find a parking space
-10 PM, 38 minutes and 45 seconds- One more lap at the block trying to find a parking space
-10 PM, 41 minutes and 19 seconds-One more lap at the block trying to find a parking space
-10 PM, 43 minutes and 20 seconds-One more lap at the block trying to find a parking space
-10 PM, 44 minutes and 16 seconds-A miracle happens, manage to find a parking space, 500 metres away
-10 PM, 44 minutes and 50 seconds-Walk in high heels till Sónia’S house
-10 PM, 50 minutes and 47 seconds-Arrive and excuse myself because of the cake and give her gift
-11 PM, 2 minutes and 21 seconds-When she is opening up gift, books The Art of Being Belgium and Secret Brussels, she mentions she is leaving Belgium in 15 days
-11 PM, 3 minutes and 10 seconds-Feeling a bit of pain in the heart and mention to Sonia, "Ups..."
-11 PM, 4 minutes and 3 seconds-Sónia laughs when opening gifts
-11 PM, 4 minutes and 20 seconds-Feeling mortified
-11 PM, 22 minutes and 10 seconds-take cake out realized it hasn’t grown and it is burned on the edges
-11 PM, 25 minutes and 32 seconds-cut the burned edges
-11 PM, 27 minutes and 8 seconds-Put whipped cream on top
-11 PM, 29 minutes and 54 seconds-Whipped cream melts because cake is hot
-11 PM, 30 minutes and 4 seconds-Put cake in fridge and pray for miracle and a hole in the ground to hide
-11 PM, 43 minutes and 17 seconds- We blow out candle
-11 PM hours, 47 minutes and 10 seconds- People start eating cake
-11 PM, 52 minutes and 43 seconds-Someone at the end of the room points at me saying "she did it" with a funny look in their face
-11 PM, 52 minutes and 45 seconds-I hide behind Rita
-11 PM, 55 minutes and 13 seconds-I try it, tastes like chocolate with chewing gum consistency
-4 AM, 12 minutes and 10 seconds-Get home after leaving friends in different houses all around Parc Cinquentenarie
-4 AM, 23 minutes and 32 seconds-Go to sleep with the feeling of a job well done in embarrassing myself!
